Last weekend, Watrec participated on seminar called “Waste problem in Vietnam and sustainable technological solutions” in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The aim of the seminar was to discuss about sustainable solutions for solving the waste problem in Vietnam. The seminar was organized by Vietnamese company Petech Engineering Corporation.
Ho Chi Minh is the largest city in Vietnam. It is estimated that the city is generating currently 7200-7800 tons of municipal solid waste per day and the number is just growing. It is clear that there’s lot of room for improvement in waste treatment in HCMC and this is what the seminar was also discussing about.
Watrec contributed with their own solution for the waste problem. Our Area Sales Director Mr. Kimmo Tuppurainen presented Watrec’s technological solutions to the audience that included people from from both public and private sector. “The seminar was a success. We were able to present our ideas to the waste problem in Vietnam. We got our message delivered well to the audience and we had lots of fruitful and interesting conversations after the seminar. I think that there is now huge desire to solve problems related to waste management in Ho Chi Minh City.” said Kimmo Tuppurainen.
